Me Jean-Philippe FERRERO was born in 1976 in Geneva. He is the father of two children.

After obtaining his Swiss Maturity, with a specialization in Latin, from Collège Calvin, he was admitted to the Faculty of Law of the University of Fribourg, where he graduated with his degree in Law in 2002.

Me FERRERO successfully received his license to practice law and became a certified lawyer in 2005. He first started as an associate in a law firm managed by Mes Ziegler, Poncet, Carrard and Lüscher, to then become an in-house lawyer as part of the Foundation of Asset Valuation of the Cantonal Bank of Geneva (Banque Cantonale de Genève).

Demonstrating a particular interest for law related to real estate, he was in charge from 2008 onwards of the legal service of the property management company Naef Immobilier. In this position, he represented the clients of this company in Court and gained a solid experience in all fields linked to real estate and property management.

In 2015, Me FERRERO chose to found his own law firm, FERRERO AVOCAT.

In 2021, he was joined by Me Alessandro DE LUCIA.

Me FERRERO is also Associate Justice for the Chamber of Leases and Rent of the Geneva Court of Justice. Previously, he held for 10 years the position of Associate Justice to the Commission of Conciliation for Leases and Rent. He therefore benefits from an excellent understanding of the internal structure of, and modes of operation in Courts.

He is notably a member of:

• The Swiss Federation of Lawyers
• The College of Lawyers for Real Estate Agencies in Geneva

Me Alessandro DE LUCIA was born in the canton of Neuchâtel in 1975 and has Italian origins. He has the double Swiss-Italian nationality and is the father of two children.

After obtaining his Swiss Maturity with a specialization in Economy, he was admitted to the Faculty of Law of the University of Fribourg and graduated with his degree in Law in 1999. He undertook his internship in Geneva and in 2002, he received his license to practice law and became a certified lawyer. He then became an associate in a law firm where he had the opportunity to practice legal Italian.

In 2005, he obtained an LL.M from the University College London in Commercial and Corporate Law.

Since 2006, he has been practicing law as an independent lawyer. In 2021, after practicing as partner of snd-avocats and Perréard de Boccard, he joined his friend Me Jean-Philippe FERRERO in the law firm he founded himself in 2015.

Me Alessandro DE LUCIA participates actively in the community life of the Lawyers’ Order of Geneva. After he was elected, first as an intern, then as a lawyer, to the Committee of the Young Bar (Comité du Jeune Barreau), he was elected to the Order’s Board in 2018.

Since 2011, he has been Deputy Justice as part of the Geneva Civil Court of First Instance and has undertaken many hearings, notably as President of the Court of First Instance in terms of debt recovery and bankruptcy, President of the Commission of Conciliation for Leases and Rent, and President of the Court of Leases and Rent.

As of 2016, he has been a member and vice-president of the legal Commission of the Swiss political liberal-radical party “PLR”.

He mainly practices law in French, Italian and English.

Me Alessandro DE LUCIA spends most of his free time with his children and still manages to fulfill his artistic side by being an amateur stand-up comedian since 2019. He also creates columns under the pseudonym of “DE LUX”.

Ms Karine SCHIBLI works for the firm as a legal assistant.

She is also in charge of the firm’s administrative management.

She is the mother of three children.
